World Trade Center Disaster
These pictures were taken at the 120 foot level of my 150 foot tower,at about 2:45 pm September 11, 2001. The tower is approximately
50 miles from the World Trade Center. It was a bit hazy that day.
On a clear day, I was able to see almost the entire twin towers of
the World Trade Center. I hope to see them again, someday...
Below is an enlarged image of the above picture. You can make out some
of other buildings, including the Empire State Building. Both of these pictures
were enhanced, using a Paint Shop Pro histogram equalizing algorithym.
By eye, with binoculars, it was much more clearly visible.
